The Moon

Full Moon occurs on 7th at h 23-39 I.S.T.

Last Quarter occurs on 14th at h. 16-03  I.S.T.

New Moon occurs on 22th at h 01-24 I.S.T.

First Quarter occurs on 30th at h 05-24 I.S.T.

   

 The Lunar Crescent becomes first visible after the New Moon day in the evening of 23rd.

The Moon is at Perigee or nearest to the Earth on 10th and at Apogee or farthest from the Earth on 26th.

The Moon passes about 40 north of Saturn on 9th after midnight, about 30 north of Neptune on 9th before sunrise, about 5½0 north of Uranus on 13th, about 4½0 north of Jupiter on 16th, about 10 north of Venus on 19th, about 30 south of Mercury on 22th, about 40 south of Mars on 24th.

Eclipse 

Lunar Eclipse: The Total lunar eclipse will occur on 7th September. The eclipse begins at 21-57 I.S.T. and ends on 8th, at 01-27 I.S.T. The eclipse will be visible in India.

Solar Eclipse: The Partial solar eclipse will occur on 21st. The eclipse begins at 23-00 I.S.T and ends on 22nd at 03-24 I.S.T.  The eclipse will not be visible in India.

The Earth

The Earth is at Autumnal Equinox on 22nd.

The Planets

Visibility of Planets:

Mercury: The planet rises about 1 hour before sunrise upto 3rd of the month. From 4th planet is too close to the Sun to be visible. The planet is in superior conjunction with the Sun on 13th.

Venus: The planet rises before sunrise throughout the month. It rises about 2½ hour to 2 hours before sunrise upto third quarter of the month and about 2 hours to 1½ hours before it for the remaining days of the month.

Mars: The planet sets about 2 hours to 1½ hours after sunset throughout the month.  

Jupiter: The planet rises after local midnight time throughout the month. The planet rises about 1½ hours to 1 hour after local midnight time upto second quarter of the month, about 1 hour to ½ hour after it for the remaining days of the month.

Saturn: The planet rises about 1 hour to ½ hour after sunset upto second quarter of the month, about ½ hour after sunset to close to sunset time upto third quarter of the month and thereafter planet sets close to sunset time to about ½  hour  before sunrise for the remaining days of the month. The planet is in Opposition with the sun on 21th.

Uranus: The planet rises about 2 hours to 2½ hours before local midnight time upto second quarter of the month, about 2½ hours to 3 hours before it upto third quarter of the month, about 3 hours to 3½ hours before it for the remaining days of the month.The motion of the planet becomes Retrograde with respect to the Earth from 6th.

Neptune: The planet rises about 1 hour to ½ hour after sunset upto second quarter of the month, about ½ hour after sunset to close to sunset time upto third quarter of the month and thereafter planet sets close to sunset time to about ½ hour before sunrise for the remaining days of the month. The planet is in Opposition with the sun on 23rd.

Conjunction of Planet:

Mercury passes about 1½0 north of Regulus (Magha) on 2nd.

Mars passes about 2½º north of Spica (Chitra) on 12th.

Venus passes about ½º north of Regulus (Magha) on 19th
